We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Ranger GSG9-X is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.
Experience has shown that the shoe fits normally.

I purposely waited about 4 years to write this review. I bought them early into my policing career after the cheaper ones I'd bought didn't hold up well with the heavy day to day use that com… I purposely waited about 4 years to write this review. I bought them early into my policing career after the cheaper ones I'd bought didn't hold up well with the heavy day to day use that comprises the norm in service. These boots have been used in some extreme environments, in drenched fields, in bogs and in 40+ degree heat. They've been used on foot chases across glass ridden alleyways and had to flex in all sorts of ways. They've been on every single dog walk, 5 miles a night, over the past years and without any let up. They've been through ravines and up most of the mountains that can be classed as such in the UK, too. Throughout it all, never once have they let me down. I've maybe polished them once and used leather care products on them 2-3 times, but that's it. The laces are still going strong, the leather is tired now but doesn't let any water through thanks to the GTX membrane. They have good sole support, too. Without any hesitation, these are the best boots I've ever worn and owned. 10/10.

At first found them quite firm little give in the boot. Over the last 4 to five weeks have walked about 230 miles and they quickly became very very comfortable. The leather has given and they fit like a glove. Very pleased with them and recommend with a 5 star rating

I wear them every day for work so they're on my feet for at least 10 hours daily, often longer. They are so comfortable I forget I'm wearing them. My job involves a lot of standing around outside in all weather conditions. Also some intense driving, sprinting and urban climbing. The Haix Ranger deals with it all. Solid and sturdy, lightweight & reliable. They keep my feet warm and dry in cold weather but cool in summer. The rapid lacing system works flawlessly and there are no loose lace ends to worry about. I love these boots. Look after them and they'll look after you. Yes, they are expensive but you do get what you pay for. When performance at work can literally be the difference between life and death its a small price to pay. Optimal equipment means one less thing to worry about. Thank you Haix.

The lace system is pure genius from the instep D-rings that lock the lace at the instep to the locking slide toggle to tighten the boot & the attention to detail is amazing with a little recess on the tongue for the lace toggle & the elastic pocket under tongue flap to put the lace is just brilliant. Knowing the sole is Vibram I knew there’d be plenty of grip but was amazed at how much movement in such a chunky sole there is, topped with the super lightweight is astonishing. Truly amazing!
