HAIX shoes are 100% Made in Europe. For us, this is not just lip service, but lived practice. When it says "Made in Europe" on a HAIX shoe, we assure you that it was made exclusively at our production sites in Mainburg and Mala Subotica, Croatia. Both plants are among the most modern shoe manufacturing facilities in the world.
By the way: "Made in Europe" is not only a promise of quality for us, but also stands for good working conditions, equal opportunities, sustainability and corporate responsibility.
The men's model of the HAIX Connexis Go GTX mid/black-fire is produced on a wider last to give wider feet more room in the shoe. There are no visual or functional differences here.
The men's model is recommended for wider feet due to the fit.
As a leisure shoe, the Connexis Go GTX mid/black-fire does not have to be tested according to the DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) standard. This means that the shoe is not subject to certification. It is therefore suitable for orthopaedic insoles. This allows the Connexis Go GTX mid/black-fire to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.
Fascia is basically a packaging tissue that sits beneath the skin. It is a fascinating network of connective tissue which essentially ties everything together. Fasciae give our body a shape and act as a binding mechanism.
Without fascia, our muscles would not be able to tense. They would resemble a semi-liquid jelly.
A tape runs through the shoe, enveloping the tarsus. When you put the tape on, it puts pressure on the fascia in the bottom of your foot. The trigger points in the insole provide additional impulses. Basically, this is similar to training with a fascia roller:

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Connexis Go GTX mid/black-fire is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.

Leichter und schöner Freizeitschuh
Ich mag diesen im Privatgebrauch und dafür wurde dieser auch bestimmt gemacht und passt dafür zu 100%! Auf der einen Seite Leicht und Luftig (keine Schweißfüße) und trotzdem Wasserdicht. Davon könnte ich ein Leid klagen, was nützt einem die besten Regenbekleidung, wenn am Ende die Schuhe durchnässen und Wasser fließt nun mal von oben nach unten. Empfehlen kann ich diesen Schuh für das Frühjahr bis Herbst, als Winterschuh aber weniger empfehlenswert , außer man hat dicke Socken.
