Different insoles are available for Black Eagle Tactical 2.0 GTX mid to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.
The Black Eagle Tactical 2.0 GTX mid has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.
This allows the Black Eagle Tactical 2.0 GTX mid to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.
HAIX shoes are 100% Made in Europe. For us, this is not just lip service, but lived practice. When it says "Made in Europe" on a HAIX shoe, we assure you that it was made exclusively at our production sites in Mainburg and Mala Subotica, Croatia. The Black Eagle Tactical 2.0 GTX mid is equipped with a classic lacing. The lacing can be stowed in the flap so that it does not get in the way.

The difference between the two models lies in the upper material. While the Black Eagle Tactical is made of leather, the Black Eagle Athletic is a textile shoe. The fit does not differ.
A light but robust shoe for demanding activities.
The Black Eagle Tactical 2.0 GTX mid can be cared for quickly and easily. With black shoe polish, which does not impair the breathability of the leather, and a waterproofing agent, the shoe is ready for any weather. For this model, we especially recommend our black shoe polish, which contains Sun Reflect pigments. This minimises the heating of the shoe by 20%.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Black Eagle Tactical 2.0 GTX mid is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.
Experience has shown that the shoe fits normally.
The DIN EN ISO 20347 standard is an European standard for occupational footwear that has been revised. What was previously known as safety class O2, which is permanently waterproof, will henceforth be classified as safety class O6.

Great boots, superb comfort.

Comfiest and reliable
My first pair after 27yrs as a first responder. My only regret is I didn’t get them sooner. Doesn’t feel like you’re wearing boots and at the same time feel confident you can ask everything of them to do the job. I cannot recommend highly enough. I will never consider another manufacturer again

One of the best pair of boots I've worn!
Being in the security trade I am constantly in boots, I have tried several different makes of boots and leading makes to boot (pardon the pun), I was after a decent pair of lightweight boots for the summer months and this is when I came across Haix boots and I wasn't disappointed! They are the lightest boots I have come across and this doesn't effect the quality, it's like wearing your slippers to work! They fit well and are very very comfortable and as they have the gortex lining my feet breathe and I can keep my feet dry if need arises, well worth the money if you life in boots like me, the only fault I could find is they took a while to shine up to my standards, boots need to be shiny!

These boots are excellent quality. My brother in law got a pair last year and has them on 24/7 in all weathers. These are a Christmas present for him ,but his others are still going strong. He has never had such comfort standing all day.

Quality boots.
At last, a pair of waterproof boots that are actually waterproof! My boots are worn 75% in the countryside and 25% on tarmac roads. Over the past week or so it's barely stopped raining so the waterproofing has really been put to the test. The boots needed minimal breaking in with only mild discomfort at the base of one big toe while the leather adapted to the shape of my foot, I'm pleased to say all is well now. They have decent grip too and, above all else, they're comfortable.

Decent but not amazing!
Having worn boots at work for 20 years I was hoping for some dream boot given the price. Maybe expecting too much.. Good fit, light, good grip but not "out of the box comfort" and I was hoping for a more trainer-like feel. Just another boot at the moment, will hopefully improve and soften up

Comfortable smart light and waterproof boot
Very good lightweight boot, true to size, very comfortable and light offering fantastic support on all terrain , from city streets to boggy country trails swamped with mud and water, these keep my feet dry and warm with only a single ordinary sock. Great lace system and never come loose as I normally suffer from looses laces due to effects af an aquired brain injury. These give me confidence to get outdoors and enjoy nature and the wilds again. My new goto boot brand .

Well impressed, good quality boot, well worth buying
Was looking for something for my son, who is an operational police officer to replace his Magnum's which have not seemed to last as previously. After much research, and viewing of videos and reviews, took a chance on these, which themselves received positive feedback, as did the company customer service. They arrived in good time, well packaged and the boot themselves are good quality. Certainly lighter weight but with extended duties this can only be an advantage and feedback from my son is also positive - comfortable, good sizing, supporting and deceives the 'lightweight' feel. Fantastic boots
I have worn dozens of boots over the years, when i joined the police i decided to get these as they were designed for the job. I must say they are the most comfortable light boots i have ever worn. it is like wearing trainers. most importantly faster wearing these which means i can win more foot chases. the sole is probably not the most durable i have seen but they are very grippy. its well worth re-soling once in a while. these boots are defiantly worth the investment.

Quite magnificent
I was issued a pair of these through my line of work. My first impression was of a cheap nasty boot due to its lightweight feel and thin leather. I wouldn't wear them and discarded them to the bottom of my locker for about 6 months. The summer brought a heatwave and I found my thick leathered heavy boots uncomfortable. I decided to give the Black eagle tactical a try...... I can quite categorically state that I have never been more surprised. These are without doubt, the finest and most comfortable boots I have ever worn! Period!! They are superb! Feet fatigue is a thing of the past, and the overheating I felt from the other boots has ceased to exist. I cannot praise these boots enough! They are so light and comfortable it is quite astonishing. I can just step into them each morning and tie the laces. I have NEVER been able to do that on any boot before. In fact they have all been quite a chore to put on and lace up. These black eagles are quite magnificent and I will NOT wear anything else.
