Different insoles are available for Black Eagle Tactical 2.0 GTX high to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.
The Black Eagle Tactical 2.0 GTX high has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.
This allows the Black Eagle Tactical 2.0 GTX high to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.

Thanks to the two-zone lacing of the Black Eagle Tactical 2.0 GTX high, the lacing can be quickly fixed and the shoe can be optimally adjusted to the foot. The lacing is first adjusted and fixed in the instep area and can then be variably adjusted in the shaft area. This combination provides support and stability.

The Black Eagle Tactical 2.0 GTX high is equipped with a classic lacing. The lacing can be stowed in the flap so that it does not get in the way.

The difference between the two models lies in the upper material. While the Black Eagle Tactical is made of leather, the Black Eagle Athletic is a textile shoe. The fit does not differ.
A light but robust shoe for demanding activities.
The Black Eagle Tactical 2.0 GTX high can be cared for quickly and easily. With black shoe polish, which does not impair the breathability of the leather, and a waterproofing agent, the shoe is ready for any weather. For this model, we especially recommend our black shoe polish, which contains Sun Reflect pigments. This minimises the heating of the shoe by 20%.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Black Eagle Tactical 2.0 GTX high is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.
Experience has shown that the shoe fits normally.
The DIN EN ISO 20347 standard is an European standard for occupational footwear that has been revised. What was previously known as safety class O2, which is permanently waterproof, will henceforth be classified as safety class O6.

I’ve had these for nearly 3 years now having been recommended them by colleagues. I’ve had Magnums and Altbergs previously. If you’re on your feet for most of the day, running around and you’… I’ve had these for nearly 3 years now having been recommended them by colleagues. I’ve had Magnums and Altbergs previously. If you’re on your feet for most of the day, running around and you’re expecting to go over some wet/rough terrain every now and then, these are brilliant, your feet will be dry and they are nice and light weight for the summer months. The only caveat to this is if you are often standing still for 3+ hours on scene guard in which case I’d say the Altbergs are superior due to having better cushioning. However these are superior for running and more comfortable when response driving in my opinion. I’m ordering a second pair, great boots!

Have become more and more pleased with these boots. Twice I have found them on my feet a couple of hours after my walk just forgot they were on. Very comfortable. One week and sixty miles
Sixty miles walked this week. Boots are very comfortable. The heel support is fine but have felt it a little when walking, but as previous boots didn’t have this only to be expected. Exceptionally pleased with how light and supportive of foot and ankle.

Overall, a good purchase.
Apart from being delivered a day earlier than the UPS tracker was telling me, I was really pleased with my boots. So light, they feel like running shoes. The size was correct, but glad I ordered a half size bigger than normal as they are a slightly narrow fit. Lets hope I can get a few years hard wear out of them.

Excellent boots

Received boots this morning. Put straight away. Walked around house/garden and this p.m.took dog 3 mile walk. Fit like a glove light comfortable cool look great couldn’t be more pleased. Have tried several other makes over years none match these so far
After one day a 3 miles very satisfied. Best boots yet. Walking approx 3,000 miles per year have worn lots of other makes out with year. I’ll update you after one week one month and one year

So far I'm impressed
Initially I bought another pair of boots from another brand that were very comfortable but after 2 weeks decided to fall apart and leak. So I sent them back and started doing a bit of research. I ended up with the HAIX Black eagle tactical boots. I can't do an in depth review as I have only had them for a couple of weeks,but here are my impressions so far. The quality seems very good and they are very light and comfortable and the size was perfect. They are quick to put on and off with the way the laces and tongue is set up. They require no breaking in and are comfortable as soon as you put them on. I've not had a single blister. The gore tex works. The biggest test on them so far is I got caught in torrential rain on my motorbike for 2 and a half hours and my feet remained dry. Can't say the Same for my jacket. Overall I am impressed but I need to see how long they last. I am hoping to get a good few years before I need to replace them not a few weeks like the other brand.
