Different insoles are available for Black Eagle Safety 56 LL mid to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.
The Black Eagle Safety 56 LL mid has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.

The Black Eagle Safety 56 LL, unlike the Black Eagle Safety 50, Black Eagle Safety 53 and Black Eagle Safety 54, does not have a GORE-TEX® membrane, so it is not waterproof. Unlike the other models, it is equipped with a leather lining.
The Black Eagle Safety 56 LL is made of water-repellent smooth leather, has a temperature-regulating leather lining and is not waterproof.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Black Eagle Safety 56 LL mid is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.

I can't evaluate their waterproofness or durability as I've only worn them for a week but comfort and no sweaty socks are most important at the end of the day for me and it's exactly what these boots are. If this boot doesn't develope issues such as wrinkling leather lining or fall apart before 12 months and maintain some level of water resistance , I may have found my perfect boot.

good boots but...
the boots are very comfortable and pretty, they don't weigh anything, but they have a very serious problem, at least for me, the skin of the instep near the toe, it wrinkles a lot and rubs on the top of my foot, this causes me very uncomfortable chafing , these wrinkles appeared as soon as I put my boots on and after throwing my knee to the ground a couple of times, I'm a welder and I make all sorts of things and I do a lot of work on the street so I have to bend down all the time, this problem is going to get me to throw them away to the trash, I don't see that another solution can have, it's frustrating because I repeat, they are very comfortable but useful to always stand or sit.
