Different insoles are available for Black Eagle Safety 54 mid / black-orange to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.
The Black Eagle Safety 54 mid / black-orange has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.

The Black Eagle Safety 54 is the only Black Eagle Safety model with steel puncture resistance. Furthermore, the smooth leather is a bit thicker than the Black Eagle Safety 50, which makes the Black Eagle Safety 54 more hard-wearing. In addition, unlike the Black Eagle Safety 56 and the Black Eagle Safety 56 LL, it is waterproof thanks to GORE-TEX®. The fit of the models does not differ.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Black Eagle Safety 54 mid / black-orange is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.
Experience has shown that the shoe fits normally.
The DIN EN ISO 20345 standard is an European standard for safety footwear that has been revised. What was previously known as safety class S3 is now further divided into safety classes S3S, S3L, S7, S7S, and S7L.

Incredibly tough boots
Very comfortable boots which fit to your feet like slippers after a few weeks of hard work. No other boot compares in my opinion, had a pair for 2 years and stayed waterproof the entire time… Very comfortable boots which fit to your feet like slippers after a few weeks of hard work. Durable and very comfortable
Its my first Haix boots I bought my pair five months ago . Boots are light , there is no metal like in cheaper safety boots which makes them very comfortable ,all my trainers its size 9.5… Its my first Haix boots I bought my pair five months ago . Boots are light , there is no metal like in cheaper safety boots which makes them very comfortable ,all my trainers its size 9.5 soo I bought same size in boots and they feet’s perfect even with thick winter socks i walk 50 h a week on site ,fully waterproof , there is no unnecessary threads on the leather what makes them more durable. Definitely worth checking out.

My advice would be not to be put off by the higher price tag of Haix boots. They are well worth the money and will more than pay for themselves with the comfort and durability they offer plus the fact they will last more than double the life span of many of the other brands of boots which are maybe half the price. I don't go anywhere else now for boots. Workmanship is second to none and so is the customer service, free returns if the boots don't fit and prompt delivery all make buying with Haix a pleasurable experience. Everyday I pull on my boots I feel ready to tackle my work with confidence and know I am wearing some of the best footwear you can buy and to me that's worth spending the money on.
