Different insoles are available for Black Eagle Safety 54 mid to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.
The Black Eagle Safety 54 mid has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.
This allows the Black Eagle Safety 54 mid to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.

The Black Eagle Safety 54 is equipped with a slightly thicker, sturdy bull leather, a protective toe cap and a puncture-resistant sole. These protect the foot from any external influences and ensure that the shoe also offers safety during challenging activities.

The Black Eagle Safety 54 is the only Black Eagle Safety model with steel puncture resistance. Furthermore, the smooth leather is a bit thicker than the Black Eagle Safety 50, which makes the Black Eagle Safety 54 more hard-wearing. In addition, unlike the Black Eagle Safety 56 and the Black Eagle Safety 56 LL, it is waterproof thanks to GORE-TEX®. The fit of the models does not differ.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Black Eagle Safety 54 mid is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.
Experience has shown that the shoe fits normally.
The DIN EN ISO 20345 standard is an European standard for safety footwear that has been revised. What was previously known as safety class S3 is now further divided into safety classes S3S, S3L, S7, S7S, and S7L.

I bought this shoe a week before and it’s really nice and worth the money Regarding the comfort. And was expecting 100% waterproofing but a little bit disappointing after I saw my feet get wet after a bloody rain and really feel a bit sweating on my foot. They told me to send it back but away from the returning hustle.

My first pair of Haix
I normally spend around £40 on safety boots (I’m a carpenter) and need to replace every 3 months or so. Recently we’ve been working on a slab that’s covered in standing water. My so called waterproof boots failed in a couple of hours, my feet were soaked and uncomfortable and the boots took days to dry out. My colleague recommended Haix as although more expensive kept his feet dry all day. He also said that his Haix last a year so do become great value for money. I bought a pair of Black eagle 54 mid and I completely love them. I’ve worn them all week and my feet remain dry and toasty warm. They fit so much better than cheap boots too as I am a half size. In summary I highly recommend Haix and this will not be my last pair.

A well made pair of boots, with decent arch support for extended periods of standing (helped me with plantar fasciitis). This is my second pair of these boots. I needed to do some pressure washing, and was glad they had Gore-Tex, my feet stayed dry, and I was comfortable for the rest of the day. I will buy these again they are worth the money.

My advice would be not to be put off by the higher price tag of Haix boots. They are well worth the money and will more than pay for themselves with the comfort and durability they offer plus the fact they will last more than double the life span of many of the other brands of boots which are maybe half the price. I don't go anywhere else now for boots. Workmanship is second to none and so is the customer service, free returns if the boots don't fit and prompt delivery all make buying with Haix a pleasurable experience. Everyday I pull on my boots I feel ready to tackle my work with confidence and know I am wearing some of the best footwear you can buy and to me that's worth spending the money on.
