Different insoles are available for Black Eagle Safety 50 high to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.
The Black Eagle Safety 50 high has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.
This allows the Black Eagle Safety 50 high to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.
The Black Eagle Safety 50 is suitable for anyone looking for a safe shoe with a simple design. The protective toe cap and the puncture-resistant sole ensure safety, the sporty, elegant, simple design ensures an appropriate appearance.

The difference lies in the material, because all shoes have the same fit. The Black Eagle Safety 50 has a thinner smooth leather than the Black Eagle Safety 54. The Black Eagle Safety 53, on the other hand, is made of suede. Unlike the Black Eagle Safety 56 and the Black Eagle Safety 56 LL, the Black Eagle Safety 50 is also waterproof.

Thanks to the two-zone lacing of the Black Eagle Safety 50 high, the lacing can be quickly fixed and the shoe can be optimally adjusted to the foot. The lacing is first adjusted and fixed in the instep area and can then be variably adjusted in the shaft area. This combination provides support and stability.
The Black Eagle Safety 50 high can be put on and taken off quickly and easily, so that the focus can be fully on the work.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Black Eagle Safety 50 high is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.
Experience has shown that the shoe fits normally.

Narrow fit but the style is good
I really liked the style of the boot. The height and calf room was also good. Sadly, the boots were too narrow for me, even without the insoles. I usually wear the Black Eagle safety 54 mid in a size 5 with no issues, but I got these in a 5.5 so I could wear thicker socks however they were too narrow even with my normal socks. I would try a larger size in future though as the style of the boot was so good and the boots felt well made.

After a few days walk they are starting to feel like they could be one of the best shoes I've had. At first they felt very stiff and hard but now my feet are getting along with them better and better. I wear them mostly at work and look forward to put them to test in rough conditions.

Best Boots I've Owned
I've owned and used these boots for about 2 years now and they've stood up to every form of abuse I could put them through. I work as a Paramedic and commute on a motorcycle all year round (British winters destroy everything). I've done thousands of motorcycle miles in all weathers and countless hours on duty in them. They're comfortable, and my feet aren't freezing on motorcycle rides in low temperatures (-4 °C coldest) or getting too hot unless above 24 degrees. They have funky insoles which retain moisture so your feet don't get soggy in sweat and dry quickly when removed. They offer excellent grip and feel - no slipping when lifting in awkward positions or paddling heavy motorcycles on bad terrain. They clear mud reasonably well and still give good footing on wet rock and metal. The lacing system is handy but not life changing. Locking loops can misbehave when lacing up but plenty of adjustment and support, and have never popped open once laced up. Waterproofing is excellent. Only once have I got wet feet in them and it was during a 200 mile motorcycle ride in very heavy rain. Incredibly sturdy too! To my knowledge they're not rated or designed for motorcycle use but I have crashed at approx 35mph in them and had no significant damage to the boots or my feet. The outsole and toe bumper will likely want replacing in a year or two but several companies offer repairs including Haix themselves. Excellent buy. Got them at a reduced price but would happily pay full price when they need replacing. I salute your workmanship Haix!

The most comfortable boot I've ever worn but beware
these boots are very very comfortable but beware ! If you have to spend a long period on your knees dragging the toe caps on the floor so to speak , they will be ruined quickly . I put two holes right through the front in one shift with the last pair I bought . But because they are so comfy and I know the limitations I had to buy these .

All terrain/weather boots.
I work as assistant security for the police. Means alot of different weather conditions due to working both indoors aswell as outdoors. This pair of boots have proven to be just outstanding compared to other boots recommended by colleagues. I've had these pair of boots for 4months now and the boots have been enduring weather conditions ranging from -15 celcius to +15 celsius, rain, snow, mud and some sunny days. First of all the lacing system, takes some time to get used to, but once that is done, it just make the comfort perfect. It also protects the boots from rain/snow/mud leaking in at the shoe tongue. I've been walking/running in water and still the feets have been dried. It can feel rather stiff at the beginning, but the ankle protection/support makes it perfect. And when beeing forced to do fast rushes/turns, it gives that support well needed. Especially when on slippery terrain. What suprised me was how easy it was to run/move fast with them, they're not heavy at all! When beeing on stationary duty and forced to stand still for a long time, they still don't give that aching feeling to the foot bed, knees nor hips, as so many other boots have given me. I'll continue to buy these pair of boots, cause I've not found any other brands that can match the protection, quality and comfort as these gives you!

Excellent comfortable and truly waterproof
I have had a long running battle trying to find truly waterproof work boots. I work in forestry and regularly spend the day walking through wet grass fields. This seems to be the failing of most so called waterproof boots including goretex. I had a pair of Haix chainsaw boots some years ago which were 100% waterproof so thought I'd give these a try. To my delight I can spend all day tree planting in soggy fields with dry feet. Only small criticism is the two stage lacing system can be fiddly. Will definitely buy again in the future. My next pair of chainsaw boots will be Haix too.

This is the third pair of Haix boots I’ve had owned now and as always I’m very impressed.I have never had to break the boots in,they have been comfortable from day one.i wear mine on building sites and they have been lasting me about twice as long as other boot manufacturers.I would highly recommend these or any Haix boots to anyone.

Only had them for a couple of weeks I have been using another high quality German made boot for years but quality has been slowly deteriorating so thought I would try something new although slightly more expensive hoping these will stick the harsh environment I work in so far I’m impressed light weight and comfort second to none will most definitely sticking to haix if they last at least six months or more Top quality boot would recommend to anyone on there feet for any length of time long or short

Excellent boots
I’ve had these boots a week now and can’t speak highly enough of them. As a land surveyor, I work in quarries and rough terrain and normally wear wellies or general work boots but having tried these Haix boots I will be sticking with them in the future. Lightweight, waterproof and high enough to not have stones get inside the boots while wearing them.
