Different insoles are available for Black Eagle Safety 40 mid/black-black to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.
The Black Eagle Safety 40 mid/black-black has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Black Eagle Safety 40 mid/black-black is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.

Very good quality boots!
I've been buying Haix boots for work and leisure for over 8 years and have never been disappointed with the various styles I've owned. Decided to opt for the Black Eagle 40.1 this year for something different to full leather, and I must say the same good quality straight out of the box yet again. Very comfortable and light pair of boots for over 9 hours daily use, very waterproof and a stable. Worth the money and best work boots I've ever brought. Will definitely return to buy again in the future.

Everything about them is great, but most of all the fact that they are comfortable straight out of the box. Fit is slightly on the large side - I purchase a HAIX UK4 but am a UK5 in all other shoes.

This boots are wearable straight from the box, I wear them >12 hours a day, 5 days a week, most comfortable safety boot I’ve found, typically walk >10 miles a day, very stable grippy sole, only down side the soles have worn out in 7-8 months

Il numero selezionato è leggermente più comodo del solito, ma ciò non gusata visto la tipologia di scarpa da lavoro; per quanto concerne l'uso, visto l'accoppiamento con il gorotex il prodotto è confortevole e ha una buona traspirazione, purtroppo nel mio caso la suola in gomma della scarpa , risulta dura, quindi tenendole hai piedi tutto il giorno il piede si affatica; inoltre ha il puntale rivolto verso l'alto è non risulta piacevole alla vista. Il prodotto è migliorabile rispetto ad altri in commercio.

Ho acquistato queste scarpe cercando una scarpa S3 che potessi indossare tutto il giorno senza avere pesantezza alle gambe o dolore ai piedi... è stata perfetta!!! È arrivata giovedi ed il giorno dopo l'ho indossata per 6 ore senza aver alcun problema. Il sabato l'ho indossata dalle 5 del mattino alle 22 durante un'esercitazione su macerie ed è stata perfetta sia per il grip che la protezione alla caviglia. Nel mio caso specifico, ho un piede piccolino ma largo, portando il 35 con il 36 mi sono trovata benissimo. Consiglio a chiunque di acquistare direttamente dal sito Haix per poter avere il reso gratuito.

Very pleased with Haix again
This is the third pair of Haix boots that I have purchased. Again the service is excellent and so are the boots. I usually buy the trekker pro but opted for a lighter boot for the summer so opted for the Black Eagle 40, they are lighter than I thought, I’m very pleased with them at the moment, time will tell. I will be buying another pair of Trekker pro for the winter.
