Different insoles are available for Black Eagle Nature GTX low to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.

The men's model of the HAIX Black Eagle Nature GTX low is produced on a wider last to give wider feet more room in the shoe. There are no visual or functional differences here.

The Black Eagle Nature GTX low can be used for hunting. Due to the rather soft sole construction, the shoe does not produce any noise when stepping on, which could scare away the game.

The Black Eagle Nature GTX low can be cared for quickly and easily. With colourless, grease-free shoe polish for suede and nubuck leather, which does not affect the breathability of the leather or the colour of the shoe, and a waterproofing agent, the shoe is cared for.

As a leisure shoe, the Black Eagle Nature GTX low does not have to be tested according to the DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) standard. This means that the shoe is not subject to certification. It is therefore suitable for orthopaedic insoles. This allows the Black Eagle Nature GTX low to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Black Eagle Nature GTX low is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.

Heroes apparerently have small feet

Don't get me wrong, Haix is the highest quality shoes of all the brands for uniformed personel, but they seem to have a weird view of what for example a soldier looks like. Up to size 48 is a minimum for any shoe for uniformed personel daily use and if you want to compete with Meindl as you did back in the day in the army you need to bring a complete waterproof, breathable shoe up to 49 because the feed swell 1-2 sizes when marching for a few days and you need to fit thicker socks to cushion them. The Heroes I've met are generally not small people.
