Different insoles are available for Black Eagle Athletic 2.1 GTX mid to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.
The Black Eagle Athletic 2.1 GTX mid has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.
This allows the Black Eagle Athletic 2.1 GTX mid to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.
HAIX shoes are 100% Made in Europe. For us, this is not just lip service, but lived practice. We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Black Eagle Athletic 2.1 GTX mid is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.

Too narrow…
A bit too narrow and slim to fit my feet. Used to own a pair of Haix p6 that were a better fit. Calzata comodissima, ottimo scorrimento dei lacci e tenuta dalla pressione desiderata. Si riesce a stare in piedi per molte ore. Ottimo il grip sul sterrato da "poligono". Consigliatissime e per la prossima estate prenderò anche quelle in chiaro! Tessuto esterno molto facile da pulire con una semplice spazzola. Tenuta all'acqua ottima!

A very solid well built boot
A very sturdy comfortable boot, that fits as expected, having previously owned Nike trainers and Timberland boots the size 10 I ordered fit as expected. There is a lot more room around the ankle than I expected, which is neither a good nor a bad thing. It does give more room for my foot to move around, which is good but as my foot moves around more I am more aware of what's going on in there. Creasing has happened early over the toes, these boots are for comfort and function more than fashion so I'm not too concerned. My feet haven't got sweaty and I've worn them for over 8 hours straight, they are cosey too. Laces are great, pull tight really easy, waiting for the fast lacing system to arrive as these boots do not come with them.
