Different insoles are available for Black Eagle Athletic 2.0 V GTX mid sage to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.
The Black Eagle Athletic 2.0 V GTX mid sage has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.
This allows the Black Eagle Athletic 2.0 V GTX mid sage to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Black Eagle Athletic 2.0 V GTX mid sage is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.

Comfortable and light boots
The boot is very comfortable and easy to tie. It is lightweight and the waterproofness is very impressive. Fast delivery. Boots are superlight and feel like a pair of runners!
A bit large in size, but suits me perfect since i use insert soles.. Will be giving these a torture testing as im inspecting powerlines in rugged terrain 8-15 km a day.. I've killed every boot i've tried so far within a year or so. Exited to see how these holds up to the abuse!

I've worn them to work for over a month now and been pleased with them , comfortable , well made and pretty good water resistance. Only issue I have is the velcro for keeping the tongue down often does not work for me.

Great boots, but wish they came in wide-fit.
These are brilliant boots, really well made and lightweight. I was worried about the Goretex not allowing my feet to breathe, but they are really well ventilated (with appropriate socks), and my feet stay nice and dry. My only negative point, which is not unique to Haix, is the lack of a wide-fit option. I have quite wide feet, and according to the calculator on the website I should have a UK size 7, but had to go up to a UK size 8.5 to allow enough width. Even then, I have had to use a boot stretcher to widen the boots a little more. Now they fit nicely in width, but are slightly too long (there seems to be too much room in the heel, so my foot sits a little too far back). I really wish there was a wide option so that I could buy the correct size in the first place. All that said, I still really like these boots - they look great and are as lightweight and breathable as advertised.

Nice boot for all. Purpose, especially for hiking, tactical use or combat use. So comfort and have good protection. Used gore tex technology for the extreme weather. Highly recommended
