Different insoles are available for Black Eagle Adventure 3.0 low to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.

The Black Eagle Adventure 3.0 low has a quick-release fastener with which the lacing can be quickly fixed. The lacing is easily tucked away in the flap, so that the hold is guaranteed during the working day.
The Black Eagle Adventure 3.0 low can be put on and taken off quickly and easily, so that the focus can be fully placed on the work.
The main difference between women's and men's models of Black Eagle Adventure 3.0 low is in the fit. The women's model is produced on a narrower last to give narrow feet more room in the shoe. The men's model, on the other hand, is produced on a wider last to provide more room for wider feet. However, there are no visual or functional differences between the two models.
Recommendation: If you have narrow feet, we recommend the women's model as it is specifically tailored to this fit. If you have wider feet, we recommend the men's model to ensure a comfortable fit.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
There are only design-related differences. The Black Eagle Adventure 3.0 features a new design and is available in new colors. Additionally, the lacing system has been optimized and the upper material has been revised. The Black Eagle Adventure 3.0 is lighter than its predecessor model.
Both the Black Eagle Adventure 2.2 and its successor, the Black Eagle Adventure 3.0, impress with non-slip soles, optimal comfort, and striking design.

Very good all round shoe
I've had a pair of v.1, v. 2, and now v. 3s. They are well worth the cost. I used my first two pairs as my go to shoes extensively for 2 years each. They are very durable. Good grip. Fine comfort levels. Nice to have goretex but the waterproofness doesn't last too many months so use a reproofing spray like you would your jackets. The week link in the shoe is the laces. Both my first two pairs the actual elastic laces snapped in, sometimes twice, and on both shoes. Really I think they should come with spares as standard. The whole design I love and like the ability to slide them on/off and not have laces to tie up. The v. 3s are redesigned slightly on the lace part of the upper so it will be interesting to see if this makes them last longer. I ordered a spare pair of laces when I bought these v3. Postage costs are high so just buying the laces later is not cost efficient. HAIX I have found to be a premium brand who seem to have not 'sold out' to cost saving compromise. Long may they continue to make some of the best footwear in the world. It would be great if you could send back your old pair for recycling and 20% off your next pair. I may well be buying HAIX for many years to come.
