Different insoles are available for Airpower XR91 to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.
The Airpower XR91 has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.
This allows the Airpower XR91 to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.
The Airpower XR91 meets all requirements of the S3 classification. The puncture-resistant sole and toe cap protect against external influences. However, as the shoe is certified according to the fire brigade standard DIN EN 15090, it cannot be designated as an S3 shoe.
The Airpower XR91 meets the requirements, but is not S3 certified due to the fire brigade standard.
The Airpower XR91 has a quick-release fastener with which the lacing can be quickly fixed. The lacing is easily stowed in the flap so that the hold is guaranteed during everyday work.
The Airpower XR91 can be put on and taken off quickly and easily so that the focus can be fully on the work.

The Airpower XR91 can be cared for quickly and easily. With black shoe polish, which does not impair the breathability of the leather, and a waterproofing agent, the shoe is ready for any weather. For this model, we especially recommend our black shoe polish, which contains Sun Reflect pigments. This minimises the heating of the shoe by 20%.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Airpower XR91 is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.
Experience has shown that the shoe fits normally.

Lightweight and durable
Super lightweight, but still high support and safety. The lower height isn’t a problem with new bunker-gear which have a better leg-shape and closes more around the ankle. Great boots!
I cannot wait to put them to use, but for now they sit nicely in their box. Perfect fit, look like they can take a lot of abuse at work and look good also. HAIX Airpower XR91
My first time going over to the XR91 from having had many pairs of the the XR1. The boots seems high quality and have been comfortable straight out the box with no real break In required. However they do feel ever so slightly narrower than my last XR1. Love the draw string method of tightening. However the strings seem that they are slightly too long, requiring excess to be tucked out the way (extremely minor fault), and I guess i could cut them, but don’t want to effect their integrity. The boot feels tighter to put on than the XR1, however once on seems to have increased support whilst feeling slightly less restrictive. Seem that they will do me well for what I need in my roles within the EMS world (999 work, ground based Enhanced Care Medical Team and the odd infrequent HEMS shift). Would be nice if HAIX supported the Blue Light Discount Card used by UK emergency service staff, as many of us buy HAIX at personal cost over free boots supplied by our services.
