Different insoles are available for Airpower XR3 to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.
The Airpower XR3 has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.
This allows the Airpower XR3 to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.
The Airpower XR3 is a classic for all those whose main focus is on quality and the safety it brings. The sturdy, thick bull leather provides the necessary robustness, so that the shoe is suitable for people who work in challenging conditions.

Airpower XR3 are all-season shoes that can be worn in summer or winter. The shoe is breathable and waterproof thanks to the GORE-TEX® membrane and with the help of our Sun Reflect System, it turns away the sunlight so that heating can be minimized.
The Airpower XR3 defies both colder and warmer temperatures.
The slightly higher cut shaft of the Airpower XR3 provides sufficient support. The leather reinforcement of the heel flex, which protects this flexible and soft insert of the flex zone from friction, provides stability.
The Airpower XR3 holds where it is supposed to hold and ensures smooth working due to its stability.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Airpower XR3 is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.
Experience has shown that the shoe fits normally.
The DIN EN ISO 20345 standard is an European standard for safety footwear that has been revised. What was previously known as safety class S3 is now further divided into safety classes S3S, S3L, S7, S7S, and S7L.

15 years same boot replace every year though!
15 years of gardening have had about 8 pairs or so. The sole wears relatively quickly. And the skid resistance on my metal trailer ramp and sloping moss covered slopes are a pain. Excellent fit albeit on foot is 11.5 the other is a 12 awkwardly. They eventually crack (Due to me being too lazy the clean everyday). Worn in deep Glastonbury festival mud and Welsh snow. The composite toe cap avoids freezing toes! And the thorn proof sole makes them ideal for outdoor work and Land Rover driving. They can even be used a Jodpbur boots riding my horse. Couldn’t get soles replaced during lockdown. But would be ideal to get 2 pairs and rotate them after heavy rain sessions or muddy days on the farm.

The best boots for outdoor working

First impression - is excellent boots my partner is a size 14 ish with quite a wide foot and always has problems getting footwear to fit. He has tried them on and they fit well - which is a very good start. He works outside with wood and needs substantial boots and these look ideal He can’t have them until Xmas but is very pleased so far Thank you

Very good comfortable boot
These are very comfortable shoes. There was virtually no break in period and i could wear them for a full 16 hour shift on my feet with no problem. My only issue was they were a bit bulkier then the pictures led me to believe, but in the grand scheme of quality its not a big issue.

Best 3 season gardener boots however...
Autumn Winter and Spring gardening boot. Buy a new pair every year. Shame price has gone up so much. Every year need a new pair as the sole wears out and wet metal trailer slop gets dangerous when the sole has worn down after being used every day for 250-300 days. Sometimes they are prone to leak in heavy wet grass. Lightweight and composite toe cap big bonus. Can get very hot in summer hence 3 season imho. Otherwise better than anything else I’ve tried over the years.

Bought these boots on the experience I had with haix protector pro chainsaw boots comfortable great on rough ground and no sweaty feet but just a little stiff for everyday use So bought the xr3s same great quality but sadly don't fit anything like the chainsaw boots iv causing a sore arch of my feet at the moment I've chopped up a pair of my hiking boot insoles which is made boots a lot more comfortable Waiting on the yellow which is the wide insole I believed to arrive hopefully this will give me a perfect comfortable fit

Bought these on the back the chainsaw protector Pro boots which are so comfortable and prefect fit and no sweaty feet Xr3 are made just as well and I certainly would expect to see over a years use out of them Cons Had to pay vat on them from haix which was a little annoying as work boots in the UK are VAT free but this is the only place I can get them at the time These boots are nowhere near as comfortable as the chainsaw boots and are supplied with a red insole which does not fit my feet I've ordered a yellow one which will hopefully make the boots fit better fingers crossed Just to elaborate on the fit there seems to be too much pressure on the arch of my foot making it uncomfortable

I'm a mechanic working on anything from heavy agricultural machinery, plant vehicles, cars and vans. I wear these boots 6 days a week all year round. They are warm in the winter and breathable in the summer. They fit like a glove (give them a week to wear in) and supportive at the ankle and oh boy do they take some abuse. Over the years I've spent a fortune on the very best brands and they've never lasted more than 6 months before the toes are worn through or the sole separates or they just stop fitting nicely. These last me years, the final word of work boots.

Worn XR3 AirPower for last 5/6 years I spend most of my time in harsh environments oil grease cement dust sharp surfaces wet muddy work areas in over twenty years I’ve never had a boot last as well as these nor be as comfortable for 12 hours a day wear walk up to 15/20k per day and feet always feel great ??

The boots gave me blisters on the heels after the first day, I suggest wearing a very thin pair with a thicker pair on top. By the end of the week they are amongst the most comfortable boots I’ve ever owned. I have wide feet with a high instep so have to buy size 13 when a size 11 would be correct for my foot length, the pair I purchased are very close fitting across the widest part of my foot but so long as I don’t tighten the laces too much they feel comfortable. Pity no one caters for width of foot.

Without a doubt the best boots I have ever brought. Well worth the extra money they cost. I tried numerous cheaper boots and found them uncomfortable and poorly made, my Haix boots are three months old now and just get better ever day , even the laces are quality and are showing no sign of wear, very comfortable, clean up like new , the rubber cover over the toes is very hard wearing And the support around the ankle inspires confidence when climbing and walking over rough ground. as a mechanical engineer I use mine in tough environments, workshop, cutting, grinding, oils, outdoors in wet, cold, mud, partially submerged pits , the boots have never leaked and always kept my feet nice and warm. The boots are a little on the heavier side but you don’t notice this, I also brought half a size larger due to having large wide feet but I didn’t need to as they are sized perfectly, next time I’ll buy the correct size in confidence. These boots really are that good. I will definitely be buying another pair if these ever wear out.

Best boots ever owned.
2 weeks in and these boots are the most comfortable I have owned straight our of the box, size wise they are true to sizing. As for wear and tear only time will tell but they seem very well made. Not cheap but definitely worth it and will be my go to for future.

Bloody good boots
I’ve been trying to find good boots for a while after dewalt went right down hill. These were recommended on a shuttering carpenter forum and I’m not disappointed. Really waterproof, comfortable and supportive, nice and wide fit. So non slip on the back of doka pans I was shocked. The leather does feel a little thin between the toe cap and lacing and on hoax Facebook page some folk say quality ain’t what it was. we see how it holds up.

Excellent boot, wore my first pair minimal 5days a week on construction sites of all types of weather, 5 years later they have only just began to let water in, now bought another pair, but old pair are being kept for none wet days. Still too good to bin.

Best safety boots ever.
These boots are absolutely perfect I’m on my 3rd pair in 8 years I wear them at least 40 hours a week in the harshest environments possible and the last pair lasted 3 years. The soles were worn down completely whilst the leather upper was still probably good for another year or so. Very good level of protection, Excellent ankle support, grip and comfortable from first day Highly recommended!

I’ve owned these boots for about 2 weeks and used them for the first time this week. Excellent so far as good as if not better than the Timberland Hamilton’s I had previously. Surprisingly comfortable for new boots and really light. On what I’ve seem so far another pair will come my way. Not used the polish yet but if the quality is anything like the boots it will do exactly what it needs to at the highest level.

Great boots but....
Got issued these boots at work last year, I used my own money to buy the expensive active polish. For the first couple of months they were great totally waterproof up to the top of the boot. They now leak so had to start using dubbin on them. They stay waterproof for a couple of hours now. I do a lot of walking across fields for work climbing over fences, through brambles and streams etc. They are comfortable just a shame about the waterproofing. I’m awaiting a new pair from work.

These are the best boots I've ever owned. I work in construction, and easily walk 8km a day in them. No blisters, super comfortable and extremely tough. I will never look elsewhere for work boots, having owned these. Best boots on the market.

If like an everlasting gob stopper they could sort the sole out this would be far better. 6 months and the sole is as slippery as ice on sloping metal trailer board. I have yet to find a better boot for gardening and the associated abuse a season gives foot ware. They are comfortable from day 1 and wear in very quickly. Mine have started to wet inside so need replacing with a new pair.

best boots I have ever owned tween
I can not over state how good these boots are. I am a stone mason. it's strange but for something I love I give these boots serious abuse. between kicking dragging and pushing stones around getting them covered in cement and working in sometimes wet mucky conditions, with a bit of polish they are good as new. I need a new pair now as after 2 years of abuse I am going to retire them. Money well spent, they owe me nothing! in short "great boots!"
