Different insoles are available for Airpower XR22 to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.
The Airpower XR22 has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.
This allows the Airpower XR22 to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.

Airpower XR22 are all-season shoes that can be worn in summer or winter. The shoe is breathable and waterproof thanks to the GORE-TEX® membrane and with the help of our Sun Reflect System, it turns away the sunlight so that heating can be minimized.
The Airpower XR22 defies both colder and warmer temperatures.
In contrast to its predecessor Airpower X21 high, the Airpower XR22 is equipped with an even more sturdy, comfortable and slip-resistant sole. For all those who do not want to compromise on safety.
The sole of the Airpower XR22 provides the necessary grip so that you can carry out your activities without any impediment.
HAIX shoes are 100% Made in Europe. For us, this is not just lip service, but lived practice. When it says "Made in Europe" on a HAIX shoe, we assure you that it was made exclusively at our production sites in Mainburg and Mala Subotica, Croatia. Both plants are among the most modern shoe manufacturing facilities in the world.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.
Half UK sizes differ in length by only a few millimetres.
You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Airpower XR22 is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.
Experience has shown that the shoe fits normally.
The DIN EN ISO 20345 standard is an European standard for safety footwear that has been revised. What was previously known as safety class S3 is now further divided into safety classes S3S, S3L, S7, S7S, and S7L.

Good solid Boots
As should be expected with solid boots, they take a bit of wearing in though I've not had any discomfort in the process. On the first day of wear I found myself in deep water - feet completely dry! Really comfortable and they feel built to last.

I purchased a pair of these XR22 and within 3 months all of the stitching came apart, making the boots useless. I did expect more from a pair of haix boots. Very disappointed as all previous pairs of chainsaw boot by haix that I've owned, I would recommend. Lee

Great boot
Brilliant fit, lots of room in the toe cap. The first boot I’ve found that doesn’t feel like it’s crushing your bones but the back of your foot feels completely supported. I love these boots and can wear them day after day without any trouble. However I have noticed that the sole feels thin. When footing ladders, the thinner bar on the back of the ladder does feel very sharp.

The best boots I've ever owned!
Fantastic value for money! They seem indestructible. I am a carpenter specialising in timber frame buildings, my footwear is tested to extremes. A quick wash every couple of weeks and an application of the haix shoe cream and they are good as new. Feet are warm, dry and extremely comfortable. Thanks haix!
